叶黄素的功效与作用有哪些？
叶黄素构成视网膜的主要色素成分，能抑制自由基生成，具有保护视力、抗氧化、滤过蓝光、延缓动脉硬化、免疫保护的作用。
叶黄素是一种类胡萝卜素物质，在自然界中与玉米黄素共同存在，在人体内不能合成，需要从外界摄取，多存在于水果蔬菜以及花卉当中，有着比较好的抗氧化功效，可以起到一定保护视力的作用，对于患有炎症相关的疾病的患者也有着一定的治疗效果。同时叶黄素是视网膜成像的有效物质之一，经常摄入叶黄素可以起到增强视力的作用。对于假性近视的患者也可以起到一定的缓解效果，但是对于真性近视并不能起到改善和治疗的作用。
富含叶黄素的食物有菠菜、甘蓝、莜麦菜、芹菜叶、韭菜、西葫芦、开心果等，可以从中适量摄取。
