MBMJ? Jil Sander? 傻傻分不清楚。这次的纽约春夏秀真是毫无新意让人提不起精神。真个秀像是Jil Sander 2011年春夏秀的拓展版。裙边的褶皱、拼色连衣裙等等元素，让人一看经不起就想到去年非常火爆的Jil Sander春夏秀。每年都十分期待MBMJ的秀，因为比起昂贵的premier designer brands，MBMJ给年轻女孩时尚并且可以负担的服饰。每一季麻里都看好几件可以下手的pieces。但是这季真是很难啊。难不成是因为老马忙着重整Dior而忘记开秀前看一眼作品了？

The title of this post is long but clear. Did Marc Jacobs recreated the MBMJ SS2012 collection from the partial Jil Sander SS2011 collection?? Once browse the entire collection it does remind me of every bit of Jil Sander SS2011 – the raffle waist, the color block contrast, and again the waist with raffles… only that the materials of clothes seem cheaper. It looks like the entire collection is an extension project of the Jil Sander SS2011 collection, or a collection of “trying too hard to get the Celine minimalism but somehow turned into Jil Sander”… I don’t see a story behind the show nor a slim connection to the previous FW one.

Is it because MJ is tied up with taking over Dior? No time to check what it’s like before the show starts?? The Marc by Marc Jacobs show is always one of my most looking forward show during the NYFW. The collection offers more affordable and aspiring looks for young ladies. I can always nail several “very hearted” pieces for future investments. Cheap materials, copy-cat styles,  However this collection was the most disappointing one to me. What do you think?
